Russell + Katlyn
Some times I have to pinch myself because of how lucky I am to have such an amazing job. We humans spend a significant amount of our life working, maybe we don't want to but it's just the reality of our world. I think I knew from a pretty young age that I didn't want to waste this time doing something that I didn't love or that didn't make me happy. I didn't know from a young age that I was going to be a wedding photographer but I sure am grateful for what ever decisions I made and paths I took that led me here cause man, do I love what I do.
On this particular 7 hour "shift" I worked at the most beautiful remote beach in Tofino, with an amazing group of people that all came together to celebrate love. There was amazing food, tasty libations, a rockn' band, men in kilts, ladies in beautiful dresses, fine scotch whiskey and unique Scottish traditions, family, good friends, and so much laughter and dancing. My job, is to use the magic of photography to preserve this day so that years from now my clients can look at beautiful images and be transported back to quite possibly the best day of their lives. Lucky me:)
